  • 2nd or 3rd year Alberta Electrician Apprentice or Industrial Technician Diploma
  • Forklift certification
  • First Aide certification
  • A valid unrestricted class five (5) driver’s license

  • Excellent organizational skills and a creative thinker with the ability to work independently
  • Familiar utilizing Microsoft Office applications

Job Description

Keyano College’s School of Trades & Technology requires an experienced individual for the role of Instructor Aide, Electrical. This position will provide support to the students and Faculty in our Electrical Department.

Reporting to the Chair, the Instructor Aide is responsible for:
  • Maintenance of existing program equipment, lab, shop and yard areas
  • Repairing and monitoring a variety of small equipment related to program delivery
  • Inventory control and purchasing of required materials
  • Assisting Instructors with the preparation of teaching aides utilized in program area.
Advertised Salary CUPE TR6- $79,127.46 per annum and includes a comprehensive health and benefit package. This position qualifies for the Northern Living Allowance of $1,040.00 per month. This allowance is reviewed annually and is subject to budget approval.
