Job Description |
Keyano College is a comprehensive community institution in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Stretching from north-central Alberta to the borders of Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories, Wood Buffalo is one of the largest municipalities in Canada. Keyano College meets both the training and skills acquisition needs of industry, and the personal enrichment and cultural needs of the Wood Buffalo community. The College provides lifelong, relevant, and practical learning opportunities and is committed to increasing access to post-secondary programs. The Nursing and Allied Health Studies Department requires an Instructor, Nursing. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach in the Health Care Aide program, in theory, lab and/or the clinical setting. The successful candidate will be required to design/revise/update courses, including consulting with the Chair, Program Coordinator, faculty, advisory committees, and potential employers and students. Engaging in program development, assisting with the program coordinators, and participating in committee work in support of the department, division, school, or College will also be required. This position qualifies for the Northern Living Allowance of $1,040.00 per month. This allowance is reviewed annually and is subject to budget approval. |
Advertised Salary | $71,785.48 to $121,523.99/annum (Based upon educational and experiential qualifications, plus an attractive benefits package). |
